Brewing the Perfect Cup of Tea

Brewing the perfect cup of tea is both an art and a science. At To help you savour every cup, we’ve put together this guide on how to brew our special blend to perfection.

Brew the perfect cup of tea

Brewing Instructions

  • Boil Fresh Water: Begin by boiling fresh, filtered water. The quality of the water can significantly affect the taste of your tea. For black tea, the water should be at a rolling boil, approximately 100°C (212°F).

  • Measure the Tea: Use one teaspoon of our Chocolate flavoured Ceylon Orange Pekoe tea per cup. Adjust the quantity based on your taste preference if you desire a stronger or milder flavour.

  • Steep Your Tea: Place the tea leaves in a teapot or infuser. Pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Allow the tea to steep for 4 to 6 minutes. This time range is crucial as it allows the flavours to develop fully without becoming too bitter. Four minutes will give you a lighter flavour, while six minutes will provide a richer, more robust taste.

  • Strain the Tea: Once the tea has steeped to your liking, strain the leaves to prevent over-brewing, which can make the tea bitter.

Enhancing Your Tea Experience

Our chocolate-infused Ceylon Orange Pekoe tea is delightful on its own, but you can customize it to suit your taste:

  • Add Sugar: A teaspoon of sugar can enhance the natural sweetness of the chocolate notes.
  • Add Milk: Adding a splash of milk can create a creamy, comforting beverage, balancing the robustness of the black tea with the richness of chocolate.
