How to:
- Prepare Your Water: Start by bringing fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil.
- Measure Your Tea: For each cup of tea (approximately 8 ounces), measure out 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea.
- Steep Your Tea: Place the tea leaves in a teapot or infuser. Pour the boiling water over the tea leaves.
- Time Your Brew: Allow the tea to steep for 4 to 6 minutes. This time range allows the flavours to develop fully without becoming too bitter.
- Strain and Serve: After the steeping time is complete, remove the tea leaves or strain the tea to separate them from the liquid.
- Add Your Finishing Touches: For the perfect cup, add a dash of milk and a pinch of sugar or honey to taste. Stir gently to combine.
